John brings a youthful exuberance and curiosity to our CAD Department as he applies his years of extensive experience to the latest technology. With new electronic tools coming to market at breakneck speed John is right there waiting to put them to use in engineering our latest product.

He joined our staff in the summer of 2009 after fifteen years with Timberland Co. as Senior Manager of Store Planning and Construction. John was responsible for design implementation and store construction in all divisions. He also participated in the selection of outside firms to provide design and architecture services as well as construction contracts and store fixture providers.

After completing his formal education in Applied Science-Construction Technology he began his career like George Washington, as a surveyor. During his many years of employment as a project manager for C.T. Male Associates, John did everything from plotting municipal maps with aerial photography to designing water distribution systems. Notably, he wrote the instruction manual for coordinate software programming used in surveying and engineering plotting calculations.

John’s more recent career included management and development of commercial real-estate ventures in hotels, shopping centers and residential apartments.

His recent accomplishments include his leadership of the implementation and construction of the first two LEED retail stores in the US under the US Green Building Council pilot program in 2007.

He is proficient in AutoCAD 3D Modeling and Accurender Photorealistic Visualization, Excel, Microsoft Project, Photoshop, Acrobat Professional and Outlook and looking for more.
